HIT 2009
Hit Barcelona 2009 attracted 2,000 delegates, 35% of whom were from abroad. Sixty-five innovative projects were presented.
Plenary Congress 20092009 participants included:
- Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Professor of Innovation at Harvard Business School
- Ray Kurzweil, founder of the Singularity University - Silicon Valley
- Gary Hamel, founder of the World Economic Forum's Management Lab (MLab)
- Vijay Govindarajan, Founding Director of the Center for Global Leadership at the Tuck School of Business
- Michael Eisner, CEO of Walt Disney, 1984-2005
Innovation Marketplaces 2009 The Innovation Marketplaces focused on telecommunications, clean energy and healthcare and brought together business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs for two days.
Each Innovation Marketplace featured discussions and lectures on each of the industries, networking areas for investors, business leaders and entrepreneurs and a competition involving 37 companies looking for the resources needed to go ahead with their projects.
Global Entrepreneurship Competition 2009 Hit Barcelona also hosted the first edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, which involved a total of 28 projects from 21 countries.
