The first edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Competition  included 28 entrepreneurial projects representing 21 countries. The winners of this inaugural edition were:


1st award 50,000 euros

Bmat (Spain)

Bmat develops music technology software solutions that allow computers to immitate human behaviour related to hearing, understanding, recognition, memorizing and interaction with music.

The Broccoli Project is a management programme for NGO’s to facilitate the development of a programme that rewards those most in need who positively participate in activities and programmes.

Polyskin (India)

Polyskin has developed an innovative process whereby biodegradable polimers are fused together to form biological membranes as a substitute to artifical skin for the treatment of burns and other injuries.

Echopixel Technologies (Mexico)

The company is dedicated to improving patient treatment using innovative stereoscopic solutions with non-invasive three dimensional imaging to detect, diagnose and improve treatment of diseases.
