The summit brought together 2.000 delegates, of which 35% international, who got to know first hand, from the gurus of economy, the concepts and tools necessary to deal with the future challenges.
The event positioned itself as a meeting platform between investors and entrepreneurs to combine innovative ideas and financing.
The event also unveiled 65 of the best entrepreneurial projects in sectors that are strategic for the future.

The Atlas is an initiative by the World Alliance for Innovation (WAINOVA) and directed by the Internation Association of Scientific parcs.
The Atlas references over 700 innovation nodes (technological and scientific parcs, business incubators and other scientific institutions) from around the world.
The Atlas’ online interface was developped by Spanish company Bestiario, a company specialised in dynamic data representation and in digital spaces for collective creation of knowledge

Bmat, Histocell, Ingenia Telecom are the Winners of the third edition of the Entrepreneur XXI competition, promoted by “la Caixa” and ENISA.
The winner of the XV Fòrum d’Inversió d’ACC1Ó, Eytoo Bioscience, represents Catalonia in the competition.
They are part of the 28 competing companies at the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, from 21 countries and all have the option to become one of the most innovative startup company in the world.

José Montilla, President of the Catalan Government, officially opens the World Innovation Summit at Fira de Barcelona. The Summit includes top international executives in three major sectors: Telecommunications, Cleantech and Healthcare. 68 of the most innovative companies from around the globe will be competing in each sector's Innovation Tournament.
